ENDURE TO THE END

ENDURE TO THE END

The Christian Church needs to wake up and realize that giving our lives to the Lord does not mean going to church and working on a committee. It means “love not (our) lives unto death.” Rev. 12:11

Christians today have had it so good for so many years that they have all but forgotten what these words mean. They have been fed a daily diet from false

teachers that God will give us anything WE want if we only believe, and that Jesus Christ will come back and wisk us all away before a hair on our head is hurt!

If those who claim they know the Lord would really put in the time to REALLY know Him and His Word, they would be able to discern the utter and pathetic falsehood of those teachings.

See the many writings about the falsehood of the pre-tribulation rapture in that section of these writings, for proof from Scripture, and the reason that the devil invented and continues to promote this “sandman” teaching, to put Christians to sleep instead of obeying what the Word tells us to do!

Jeremiah 7:19 says, “Do they provoke me to anger? Saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?”

These are powerful Words for our times! “Christians” who insist on burying their heads in the sand, not praying for discernment, and not turning wholeheartedly to the Lord, will be deceived and confused, leading to accepting the mark of the beast described in Revelations, and be thrown in the lake of fire. No, we are not secure in our salvation if we do not “endure to the end”, which is repeated over and over throughout Scripture.

Endure what? Maybe tribulation, maybe Featured imagenot, whatever is the Lord’s will for each of us, but whatever we have to endure, we can do it in Glory and Grace, because Our Saviour will be there to take us through it. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us. That doesn’t mean on a bed of feathers, Christians, that means whatever is His will for us. But, it will be OK, and even wonderful with Our Lord there with us, no matter how it looks to the world.

If we don’t spend time with the Lord, in the Word, and in fellowship with Him personally, we will be confused when the deception gets worse. As Jer. 7:19 (quoted above) says, we will be confused of our own faces. A person in the midst of powerful deception will be so confused, he won’t be able to recognize fellow Christians, enemies of God, the Word of God, or the devil’s deception….they will all blur together in a horrible mess, and he will lose sight of God.

We cannot let that happen to any of us!!! We must encourage each other to stay in the Word and in conversation with Our Lord, ALWAYS after repentance from our heart (the repentance is important)

Psalm 12:8 says, “The wicked walk on every side when the vilest men are exalted.”

and again, in

Ps. 49: 20 “Man that is in honour and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.”

These two verses (and others) describe the situation in the world today. Many of the men and women in power in the world are vile, hating God, and loving themselves and their quest for power and money….murdering, harming, starving, and destroying anything that comes against them.

They reject everything God stands for, and spit in His face. They have no understanding, or desire, for what is fair, right and just, and will use any evil methods to obtain their vile agendas. The Word of God says that they are no better than an animal….living by selfish motives and instinctive actions, and God will deal with them that way, as He did with the leaders of past civilizations who ignored His laws and His mercy.

He holds responsible those who have the understanding of His ways, and do not do what they can to turn things around. Those who live in fear of these rulers are considered just as bad as they are. Revelations 21:8 tells us that the fearful will be condemned with the evil:

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

At first glance, this sounds unjust, but not when we look at what God has commanded His people. He has commanded us and pleaded with us throughout history and throughout His Word to do one simple thing: TRUST HIM…..

He commands us to accept Him, and all that He is, and lay our hearts at His feet…..give ourselves, whether in life or death, fully and utterly to HIM!!!!

If we have done this, and continue to do it, He will take us through the hard times, and not let us be fearful.

Without this relationship throughout our lives, when the time comes, the fear that we would naturally feel with overpower us, and we will react out of impulse, and not reach out to Him. We would react as the animals that His Word (above) said the leaders are acting like.

Here is what He wants of us, and what He promises for us:

Deut. 4:29-31 “But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul?”

When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto His voice:

(For the Lord thy God is a merciful God) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them”

Remember, as Christians, we are included in that Covenant, so those promises are for us.

Here are some more encouraging Words for these times:

Ps 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”

Ps 9:20 “Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men.”

Ps 19:20 “Cleanse Thou me from secret faults”

Lord, You know my sins, faults and weaknesses better than I do. Please, cleanse any known or unknown sins within me.

Ps 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.”

Ps 17:8-9 “Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, from the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.”

Ezekiel 3:17-18

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Issrael: therefore hear the Word of My mouth, and give them warning from Me:

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand.”

These are strong commands, and urgent responsibilities for Christians in these days.
