The Word of God has so many fantastic promises, truths and commands that will change our lives when we see them from His eyes. We are used to the softness of speech in our human society. We say things and hear things that we really don’t dig deeply to understand, nor do we truly believe them, whether we’re promising or receiving a promise. God’s Word is clear, and true in every detail, and to the very extent it is spoken. When we get that into our hearts, the Word comes alive in our lives to an extent we never knew possible. I lost my husband in October 2020, and that was a long dark winter, with the short winter days. In the dark loneliness and depression, I found the Lord to a much greater degree than I have ever known Him in my life!!!! I realized to a greater degree how alive each word is. Praying you grow in Him as I pray I do also, in what time He gives us.
