READ THE OLD TESTAMENT
We need the OT to find the whole person of God. The New Testament shows God’s Grace, Love, and peace. But the Old Testament shows His justice, which leads us to the foundation…why Salvation was necessary.
The OT is larger than the New. If we weren’t supposed to read it, He wouldn’t have given it to us. But He wants us to see Him in it and it will show us that His Grace is so much more beautiful in the light of His Law and Justice and OT forgiveness of His people over and over again.
Just as the Israelites fought physical battles against the demonic groups and pagan worshipers, so we fight spiritual battles against principalities in our homes, jobs, government, churches, and personally.
If you call yourself a Christian, you are a soldier. Epesians 6:12 above doesn’t say “some of us”, it means every Believer.
