GOD’S WORD FOR SEPTEMBER 22~~ “Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

When God makes a statement, He never backs down, and He never makes a suggestion. This is a command for people who will call themselves Christian. The Power of God, and His intense Love, doesn’t just come to us because we said a prayer once, and occasionally crack a Bible open. That is not a Christian. He would call that a lukewarm person, and He told us in Revelation 3:16

“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”

To be a Christian, to be able to be transformed by Christ, and made like Him, we have to make Him the Lord of our lives. For that, we need to reject the pleasures of the world system of this earth that have been run by satan since the sin of Adam. We need to spend time with Jesus, in His Word, which is His main way of communicating with His children. Internet games, TV, secular music, modern movies, are not only a waste of precious time, but they are slowly indoctrinating people to think they aren’t so bad, which strengthens the evil hold on you, pushing you farther and farther from Jesus, and eternal happiness with Him. Please! If you call yourself a Christian, don’t be a friend of the world! Because enmity with God will be with you for eternity!!!!! Is it worth it????
