GOD’S WORD FOR OCTOBER 30 ~ ~ 2Peter 3:9 Amp. ~ ~ “ The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”

If it seems like God is taking a long time, He’s not. He doesn’t live in time, like we do. We won’t live in time forever either. If we’re saved, we will live with Jesus and the Father in eternity—in the New Heavens and the New Earth, all of which will be perfect. It seems like He’s slow sometimes because He wants EVERYONE to have every chance to come to salvation through Him. He doesn’t want anyone in Hell. He doesn’t send anyone there. It’s their choice. Please, Lord, show us how to tell others about Your wonderful Love. We praise You that You are already doing that!! In Your wonderful name, Jesus, we pray.
