GOD’S WORD FOR NOVEMBER 4
GOD’S WORD FOR NOVEMBER 4 ~ ~ Isaiah 46:9-10 ~ ~ “Remember [carefully] the former things [which I did] from ages past; For I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, And from ancient times the things which have not [yet] been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will do all that pleases Me and fulfills My purpose,’” We need to contemplate and worship God, in view of the entire scope of Creation. God existed eternally before He ever created anything. He has no beginning and no end. Everything we see, and many things we can’t see, were all created by Him, and He keeps all things going. If He stopped, all things would immediately die and disintegrate. He knows all things. He knows what will happen, and He allows it, if we see it. If He didn’t allow it, we wouldn’t know it. He saves us from a lot of things, and is always with us in the things that He does allow! “He declared the end in the beginning” The Bible’s Old Testament is full of prophesies about what was going to happen, and, sure enough, in the New Testament, they did, true to every detail. He tells in Revelations of what is coming, and, indeed is recognizably here even now. We need to take it seriously. He declares it, and He can’t lie. When He tells us about salvation, and about getting our relationship with Him on a high level, about raising children in the fear and love of God, He means it! We don’t know how much time is left, and we each need to be putting priority on our relationship with the One True, Eternally Powerful God.
