GOD’S WORD FOR NOVEMBER 6 ~ ~ Job 42:2 ~ ~ “I know that You can do all things,
And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.” Job said this to God after the Lord listed a few of the things that He made, putting Job’s thinking in line. Sometimes we need the Lord to do that to us. Sometimes we think we’re “too big for our britches”, as the saying goes. When we look around us, at creation, and think of Jesus holding all things together, from the tiniest parts of an atom, which make up all things, to the most huge things in the universe, to governments, we should fall on our faces before the Great God we serve. “Lord, we praise You for what You do, have done, will do, and mostly for Who You are! You are indescribable. There are no words that can do You justice. Please put that fact into our hearts to humble us when we need it. We thank You and praise You.
