GOD’S WORD FOR FEBRUARY 13~ ~ Ephesians 6:26 ~ ~ “ above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Anyone who has made a decision for Christ will know that the enemy will send his evil ones to quench it if they can. You will have thoughts you never had before. You’ll have distractions like never before—guilt—resentment—and much more. Some may be yourself, but some is certainly the enemy. If you know you are truly saved, you can quote the promises in the Word to the liars……both human and otherwise…..who want to discourage you. Stand firm, use the Word and your God-given faith to put out the fire in those darts!!!

“Father, we thank You for salvation. We thank You for the armor described in Ephesians 6, to fire back at the enemy, as Jesus did in the wilderness. Show new believers that they are a child of God, they are righteous through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and they have all the power of the Godhead working in them. Give them and all of us, courage to stand against the wiles of the enemy in the powerful and wonderful name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen
