GOD’S WORD FOR SEPTEMBER 6 ~ ~Titus 2:1,~ ~ \“But speak the things which become sound doctrine”
It took medicine thousands of years to discover antibiotics and learn how to use them. Now it appears that a wasp called the European Beewolf (a wasp) has been using an antibiotic all along.
The Beewolf builds a burrow in sandy ground to lay its eggs, where the hatchlings will spend four to nine months after they hatch. She also leaves a spot of white goo in the nursery chamber. Then the Beewolf catches a bee, paralyzes it with a sting, and returns it to her burrow. She will stock each nursery chamber in the burrow with up to five bees. Scientists have long wondered what the white goo was. Now research has shown that this substance is laced with a new species of bacteria that live on the wasp’s antennae. It turns out that this species of bacteria makes an antibiotic that apparently protects the hatchlings. When scientists separated a clutch of 15 wasp larvae from the goo, only one made it to adulthood. On the other hand, in a clutch of 18 larvae who had access to the goo, 15 made it to adulthood.
Obviously, the Beewolf did not discover this use of an antibiotic and learn how to use it to protect its children. Rather, the Beewolf’s Creator – Who created antibiotics in the first place – built this behavior into the Beewolf to help it survive.
Antibiotics come from God in creation. Many foods and spices are antibiotics.
In the beginning of the creation of all matter, and all life by the One True God, there was no need for antibiotics. Death, disease, deterioration, and violence were not present in the Garden in the beginning. It was soon after creation that satan tempted Eve, and both Adam and Eve chose to sin against their very generous creator, that all these things (and determined weeds too) came into their world, because they had to leave the perfect garden, and go into the world controlled by satan.
In sinning, they had chosen to join satan in his rebellion against God, who created all of them. God created Lucifer as the most beautiful, talented, and intelligent of all angels. But when he chose evil, he turned into satan and became more evil and very ugly.
All of mankind inherited that tendency toward sin from Adam and Eve, as was evident when the first murder of the human race was their son killing his brother (Cain and Abel–Genesis chapter 4)
Therefore, we all die, and all things decay, rot or rust. Not only that, but the separation from God on this earth will continue for eternity, and since we inherited our first parents’ choice of gods, by choosing satan, as we are from birth, we will all suffer the same fate as satan and his demons will forever—the lake of fire!
But the Almighty Creator, in His great love, along with His beloved Son Jesus Christ, had a plan to save those who would choose to be saved from that!!! When Jesus made the correct choice, (for us and in our stead) He suffered more than any man has ever suffered. He took on every one of everyone’s sins and suffered the full judgment of God for us all!—accumulated!! It is more than we could ever imagine!!! Worst of all, He was acting fully as a man then, (the Father having to turn His back on Him because of the sin) in order for the sacrifice to be fully just and the full price paid for each of us!!!
But it doesn’t do us any good unless we accept His substitutionary death and suffering for our sins.
If we do accept Him and His substitution, making Him both Lord and Savior to us personally, then
we won’t have to pay for our sins because the Judge paid our price!!!! How unbelievable for the Almighty to do that for the likes of sinners like us!!!!!
For eternity, we will live with Jesus on the New Earth, which will be perfect like the Garden of Eden in the beginning. Things will come full circle, praise to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!
Revelation 21:1-4 ~ ~ “ Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 4and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”
Will you tell Him so now? Will you tell Him you acknowledge Him as the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, and the humble Savior who took your sins on Himself? Will you make Him the ruler of your life and live for Him? Or would you rather serve satan, the evil ruler, and take his fate for eternity?–torture forever in the Lake of Fire.
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Those are the two choices. Please make the right one, then read His Word and see what He will tell you!
