GOD’S WORD FOR FEBRUARY 15

GOD’S WORD FOR FEBRUARY 15 ~ ~ Philippians 2:12 ~ ~ “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

WHAT DID JESUS DO ON THE CROSS?

Here is what Dr. R. G. LEE reminds us that He did:

JESUS BECAME THE SON OF MAN SO WE COULD BECOME THE CHILDREN OF GOD

HE BECAME SIN THAT WE MIGHT BE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH HIM

HE BECAME POOR THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE RICH

HE BECAME A PARTAKER OF OUR HUMAN NATURE SO THAT WE MAY BECOME PARTAKERS OF HIS DIVINE NATURE

HE WAS BORN IN A MANGER SO WE COULD LIVE IN A MANSION

HE WAS HOMELESS SO WE COULD HAVE ETERNAL HABITATIONS

HE WAS CONDEMNED SO THAT WE COULD BE JUSTIFIED

HE BECAME A SERVANT SO THAT WE MAY BECOME KINGS AND PRIESTS WITH GOD

HE WAS STRIPPED OF HIS CLOTHES SO THAT WE MAY BE CLOTHED IN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

HE WAS CUT OFF SO THAT WE MAY BE BROUGHT NIGH

HE ENTERED INTO THE REALM OF DARKNESS SO THAT WE COULD ENTER INTO THE REALM OF HIS ETERNAL LIGHT.

HE BECAME LIKE US SO WE COULD BECOME LIKE HIM.

Let’s think about each one of these things, and praise Him for salvation, then go and “work out our salvation” in the world!!!!!
