DESTRUCTION AND RE-CREATION OF HEAVEN AND EARTH
DESTRUCTION AND RE-CREATION OF HEAVEN AND EARTH
Mankind has one universal flaw, that spreads out into varied sins. That is that we always want to control everything.
Mankind as a whole has a hard time submitting to God and His control of the universe. This led to the lie of evolution. People don’t want to admit that they are accountable to Someone, as we are to the God who created us and… all of His creation. So, they made up a beginning that would enable them to take control of the world and beyond, themselves. They made themselves the keepers of the world, nature, and the heavens. They took responsibility for keeping the atmosphere, rivers, oceans, minerals, animals, etc. etc. safe to last forever.
The leaders of this thinking use it to gain control over others for their benefit, and the ones they are controlling are led to think that what they do really will save the earth and the universe. How foolish to think that we have to take the responsibility that only God can carry. How foolish to have disagreements, and wars over something that will be melted away by the Mighty Presence of God!!!!!
The perpetrator in all this, as in all lies, is the one the Bible calls the “god of this world”….satan. His goal is to keep as many people as possible thinking that they are in control, and thereby keep their eyes off their Creator and Saviour. So, the “Pride of Life” temptation is used again, as it was with our first parents, Adam and Eve.
If they could only humble themselves and look to the One Who loves them….they would see that it is HE who made all this…the universe, the heavens and the earth, and all things on it. It is HE who will destroy it in the end because it is contaminated by the “god of this world”. When the devil is forever locked up, his filth and sin must be cleansed away from the earth and its atmosphere (“heavens”—-the heavens in this usage is the atmosphere, the “first heaven”…not the heaven where God dwells).
That is when Our Wonderful Lord will create the NEW heavens and NEW earth!!!!!! This earth will be perfect, without the contamination of sin, because the devil will be locked up forever, and mankind will be cleansed. Only those who have been washed in the Blood of the Lamb will live there!!!!
It will be when things will have come full circle, and mankind will live on a paradise on earth….a huge garden of Eden with God walking around and speaking to us like He did with Adam!!!!! This is when the lion will lie down with the lamb, and there will be perfect peace and Love!!!!!
Oh, what a wonderful time to look forward to!!!!!!! Praise the Lord for His wonderful plan of salvation for sinful man!!!!!
Here are some of the verses that speak of the destruction of this earth and the creation of the perfect heaven and earth.

DESTRUCTION OF OLD
Psalm 102:25-27
King James Version (KJV)
25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
Isaiah 24:19-20
King James Version (KJV)
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again
Isaiah 51:6
King James Version (KJV)
6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
Matthew 5:18
King James Version (KJV)
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 24:3
King James Version (KJV)
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Matthew 24:14
King James Version (KJV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:29-31
King James Version (KJV)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:35-39
King James Version (KJV)
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mark 13:24-37
King James Version (KJV)
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Luke 21:26-36
King James Version (KJV)
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
2 Peter 3:10-12
King James Version (KJV)
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Revelation 20:11
King James Version (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
