GREAT LIE OF SATAN—PRE TRIBULATION RAPTURE DECEPTION–PART 3
Welcome to Part 3 of Scripture proofs for the Truth that Christ will gather His elect AFTER the Great Tribulation.
There are many scriptures that prove that Christ will gather His elect AFTER the tribulation. So it doesn’t get too lengthly each time, I will continue to put some on each part, and explain each verse or group of verses.
For your convenience, I am printing the verses, but I encourage you to read additional verses in that chapter for clarity of context. It would take too much space to put the whole chapters on here. We should always read verses in context.
2 Thes. Chapter 2
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?”
This is showing us clearly that the beastly world system is revealed BEFORE the Day of the Lord—the “gathering together unto Him”
Verse 3 clearly says “that day” (which refers to verse 1) won’t come until after the son of perdition is revealed.
Also, let’s look at verse 3, where he says, the falling away comes at the same time, or close, to the revealing of the son of perdition…”falling away first (before the gathering to the air) AND…meaning the same event…”that man of sin be revealed…”…
The falling away is the “believers” who have not believed the clear Word of God that says we must be ready to stand strong through the tribulation, and fall for the strong deception and worship the beast, because they think he is Jesus!!!
Remember, dear people……the beast will not seem like a bad thing!!! He will be beautiful, sweet, loving, and he will give people food, beautiful things……..he will be the worldly saviour, and he will claim to be OUR saviour, Jesus Christ…he will say he is Jesus, he will look like, act like, be like Jesus, and the deception will be so very very strong, that if we aren’t ready, knowing for sure it is not Our Lord, he will deceive many…including “Christians”….
Remember, please….we don’t have to reject Christ to be deceived. … the antichrist is demonic….he can read our mind…he knows how each of us pictures Jesus….what we want from Him, and he will make sure that we see that in him (the beast)…do not underestimate the intelligence of satan.
Rev. 13:7 tells us that the purpose of the beast is to make war with the saints (which, again, proves the Christians will be here for the tribulation)but, because that is his goal, he will do
more than simply make us worship him….. He has been planning this since his rebellion….he has planted the false doctrine that says we won’t go through the tribulation, so we will be blinded when he comes…thinking he is Christ. Christians are the ones who will be looking for Christ to return….non believers aren’t watching….
This is why the false doctrine was established in the 1800’s (yes, the church always knew they would go through the tribulation before this hideous deception) by a Jesuit priest and a Scottish woman named Margaret MacDonald, who was deep into the occult!!!

In the last part, I showed you the verses that joined the signs of the Day of the Lord…and that they all placed it AFTER the tribulation. Now I will show you the weaving of the verses that show us that it will be at the Last Trumpet…and also, AFTER the tribulation.:
I Thessalonians chapter 4…let’s look at that:
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Note: verse 16…the trump is at the same time as the “rapture”….
Matthew 24:31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Revelation 11:15-18
King James Version (KJV)
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
OK…Lets bring these verses together, with the common ground of “the last trumpet”
1.They all speak of the catching away of the Elect.
2. They all clearly show that it happens AFTER the tribulation…
As I showed each one previously, and, if you read them in context, you will see that, also.
3. They are all “at the last trump”,..which is also when Christ will destroy the wicked along with the earth, and create the New Earth for the Millenium and forever.
This will be a loud and glorious event!!! The trumpet of ALMIGHTY GOD will blow, and we will be taken safely in the air while He melts the mountains, and burns the earth with its inhabitants.
The last trumpet shows that it is the last minute of this age. Jesus speaks of “this age” and the ‘age to come”…the resurrection of the elect saints, catching away of living saints, and destruction of the earth and its inhabitants, signify the change of the ages. No more chance for salvation…now it the creation of the new heavens and new earth, and reward of the saints!!! PRAISE OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST!!! It will be such a glorious time!!!
He will not destroy the Elect with the destruction of the earth and the wicked ones, because they (we) will be with Him in the air then. Paul says this in 2Thes. 2:8,by the way, he is using the same Greek word for “coming” as is found in Mt. 24:27, 37 and 39, and in First Thessalonians 4:15—-all AFTER the tribulation)
2 Thes 2:8–”8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
(same Greek word for “coming”)_
Isaiah chapter 24 describes the Lord’s destruction of the earth and unbelievers.
Verse 23 speaks, again, of the blood red moon (“confounded”) and darkened sun.
And verse 25:8 is then fulfilled!!! 8 “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.”
Which is repeated in I cor. 15:54.…“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
