FINDING THE TRUTH

When I hear people argue about who Jesus is, I wonder if they really want to know or if they just like to argue.

While there are many, many proofs in the Bible that Jesus is God, it really isn’t a “head” issue.

We could argue and quote scripture and logic and the questioner will still not be able to wrap his mind around the concept of the Holy Trinity. There are many deceptions out there because satan does not want people to REALLY KNOW the Lord Jesus Christ.

We can’t understand it until we REALLY want to know the TRUTH! Wanting to know the Truth means that we are ready to let the Lord tell us the Truth even if it seems to go against what we THINK we know.

It isn’t something we can grasp with our minds alone, it is not a head issue, because it involves the very essence of the entity of God Almighty!!!

It is, rather, a heart issue. If we really want to know the Truth, simply and purely, and let that Truth fulfill its own promise, it will truly set us free. (John 8:32 )

All we need to do is ask God to show it to us—as simple as that—-a genuine desire to know the Truth straight from the Lord, and He promises that we will receive it.

James, the brother of Jesus, and an unbeliever most of his life, tells us this: in James 1:5-6

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

When we repent of our sins, and obey the nudges the Holy Spirit gives us, we will find out the Truth and be able to be, not only saved in the end, but be able to reject false teachings along the way in this life, and, best of all, we will have that wonderful fellowship with Jesus Christ that we never knew was possible!!!!!

And all we have to do is ask forgiveness, and ask for wisdom!!!!
