NOTHING SURE BUT THE LORD

Psalm 130:6

⁶ My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

The psalmist knows that the coming of the next day for each of us is not ever 100 percent sure. God may take us at any time. Nor is anything in this world sure. The things of this world are many times deceptions of satan, and the only really sure thing is the Word of God. We can be sure of God at all times!!

Therefore, as the psalmist says, we can be more sure of the Lord and His Love and promises than we can be of the dawn coming. Our spiritual dawn in sure—as sure as the Word and Life of Our God.
