FORTIFYING OUR WALLS

Isaiah 22:9-14

V 9“Ye have seen also the breaches of the City of David, that they are many and ye gathered together the water of the lower pool”

We have many breaches in our wall of faith. We have many faults, weaknesses, and sins, but the Power of the Holy Spirit is perfected in each of us and the Living Water in us will “gather together in the Lower Pool” and keep the enemy away from the breaches in our wall due to our imperfections.

V10 “And you have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have you broken down to fortify the wall”

We, too, must “number our houses”…..those little shelters we make for ourselves. …the areas of our lives we keep from opening up to the Spirit of God, and give Him complete control of. Those things that we excuse, and try to forget…
