GOD’S WORD FOR JULY 17
Psalm 31:19”How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who [reverently] fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of man!” People now need to stop their busy lives and think of how far above all the evil and even “good” of this world, God is, and how far above what we consider “good” is His Goodness!!! We need to think from a heavenly and eternal perspective, instead of comfort, entertainment and fun. We need to look to Him for our joy, not to this world. He is ready to give us all things. He has them stored up for us, but most aren’t receiving them because they are too focused on the things of this world. “Help us, Lord, to see You through the smoke and mirrors of this evil world. In the name of Your Dear Son, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we ask this. Amen
