GOD’S WORD FOR JULY 18

GOD’S WORD FOR JULY 18

Acts 17:26-28 “And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories. 27 This was so that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grasp for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28 For in Him we live and move and exist [that is, in Him we actually have our being], as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.” If we would really

think about this passage, our lives would never be the same. It is one of the basic tenets of the Christian faith, yet, the concept is many times overlooked. We are IN Christ. IN HIM we live, and move and have our being. The God who controls the nations. (Isaiah 9:6 “and the government shall be upon His shoulder) as described in this verse also, and the universe, does it with us by His side!!! Moreover, He does it with us IN HIM. Some of us memorized verses like this, but many times we don’t really meditate on what they mean. I pray that would be a goal for all of us today, and every day, because the time is short, and evil is increasing.

NOTE to reader: If you’re not sure how to be saved, and receive the promises in the Bible, feel free to message me, or talk to another true born again Christian. Jesus died for each of us. No one is excluded, no one is “too far gone”. He came to seek those who are lost, and, although He is fully God, He became man to suffer and die for YOU. But you need to accept this free gift. You can start by reading the gospel of John, and the epistles (Especially Romans, Corinthians, Ephesians, and Colossians) Go to Him sincerely, He WILL show you the Truth!!!
