GOD’S WORD FOR JULY 31~~Matthew 5:14 & 16 “You are the light (of Christ) to the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” We, who know Jesus Christ, cannot hide, and should not hide, from the world, even though we are not of this world. We represent Christ to the unsaved. They will make their decisions, in part, by how they see us. We know we are not without sin, and must repent of our mistakes, but they don’t understand that. We must, to the best of our ability, show Christ in our lives, and allow His love to shine through us. “Father, please forgive us for not allowing Your light to shine in our lives to the world. Please forgive us for not showing that we are Your workmanship (Ephes. 2:10) and the Aroma of Christ to others, (2 Corinthians 2:14). Please help us to step aside, and allow Your Light and fragrance to flow from us. Make us a conduit instead of a wall. We thank You and praise You for all You are and do for us!!!

NOTE to reader: If you’re not sure how to be saved, and receive the promises in the Bible, feel free to message me, or talk to another true born again Christian. Jesus died for each of us. No one is excluded, no one is “too far gone”. He came to seek those who are lost, and, although He is fully God, He became man to suffer and die for YOU. But you need to accept this free gift. You can start by reading the gospel of John, and the epistles (Especially Romans, Corinthians, Ephesians, and Colossians)
