GOD’S WORD FOR AUGUST 19Psalm 105:4-5“Seek the Lord and His strength: Seek His face evermore: remember His marvelous works, which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth” When we see the evil going on in this world and this nation, our hearts break. We look to You, Lord Jesus. We and all the world needs to look to You for strength, wisdom, courage, and every momentary need we will have. We do remember Your marvelous works, Father, from ages past, You never change. We are in awe at Your wonders, as the verse tells us. But right now, Lord, we are on our knees, asking for the last phrase in this verse….the judgments of Your mouth. Please, Lord, bring judgment on the perpetrators of the suffering so many are going through because of them, while they smugly smile and play. However, Lord, in seeking You, we must also seek Your Will. So we say, with a broken heart, “thy will be done.”
