GOD’S WORD FOR AUGUST 29
John 17:23 (AMP)~~ “I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.” This is part of the famous chapter, containing Christ’s “high priestly prayer” to the Father, about all true believers throughout the years. When we are totally committed, the Holy Spirit makes us one with Him. The Father loves us as servants, and as sons and daughters. His Word says He loves us as much as He loves His son, Jesus Christ. That is difficult for us to understand, but His Word is always true. How could He not protect, guide, and provide for us since He loves us that much, and Jesus is praying for us?
