GOD’S WORD FOR SEPTEMBER 3
Isaiah 44:22 “I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” When we get caught up in this world, and in daily problems and work, we feel, (and probably are) far from the Lord, from our Savior. We feel the dark, thick cloud on a rainy, misty day, that keeps us from the Joy of knowing our Savior like we should. God reminds us that He has forgiven our sins (If we are true Christians) and tells us to come to Him, seeking forgiveness for looking to this world instead of to Him, and seeking the peace, love, joy and forgiveness that comes only from fellowship with Him.
