GOD’S WORD FOR SEPTEMBER 17
Malachi 3:17 Amp~~ “They will be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “on that day when I publicly recognize them and openly declare them to be My own possession [that is, My very special treasure]. And I will have compassion on them and spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”
As these evil times move on—-daily going to the next step, we can only sink deeper into the loving and very capable arms of Jesus and the Father. They haven’t forgotten us. In fact, this is all about us and our brothers and sisters in Israel. We are all His jewels. Jewels have to be cut to be precious. The purpose of cutting is to make the jewel reflect light in a most magnificent way. That is what He is doing with us. During the cutting process, we need to still reflect His Light as best we can while relying fully on Him. This resting in His arms is a process. It is not an inactive thing. It means that we stand for Him and for Truth in His power, as we look to Him. This isn’t the time to sit in the pew and let the pastor pump us with courage. We are soldiers. We need to seek the Commander in Chief for our individual orders, and we all have them, no matter what our station in life is. We will be judged by what we did with what we were given, just as Jesus taught in His parables. It is our duty, our desire, and passion, to work until the end. Lord Jesus, please show us exactly what to do and when to do it. We rely completely upon You in these stressful time. We are only the branches. You are the Vine. Give us the wisdom, information, strength and desire to do what You want each of us to do. We are the body, You are the head. Lead every part of Your body to fit together and work together to bring about Your Kingdom through all this, and that in the Peace and Love that only You can give. We thank You and praise You that You are always with us, and with Your grace, we will not fear what man can do. In Your mighty name, we pray.
