GOD’S WORD FOR NOVEMBER 22 ~ ~ Isaiah 44:6~ ~ “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.” There are only two forms of entities in the spirit world. God, and angels. God is the only God, and created all things, including satan, who is a fallen angel. All “gods” that were worshiped throughout time and throughout the world, are demons, impersonating “gods”. And don’t think that we are exempt from worshiping false gods here. In the church pews there are lots of false gods being worshiped. Cell phones, internet, TV, Games, even people around us that we love, can be treated by us as gods. Anything other than necessary work, that takes our attention and time away from our time with God, is a false god in our lives. Entertainment in and of itself is not sinful, but if it takes such a high spot in our lives that we “don’t have time” to spend with Jesus, then it has become a god. Or if it is of such a “bent” that it is offensive to the Word of God, and therefore sinful in His eyes, then it is even more a sin against Him. Let’s take a look at what we do in our spare time, and prayerfully ask for guidance from Our Lord.
