GOD’S WORD FOR NOVEMBER 23 ~ ~ Genesis 1:26 ~ ~ “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Thank You Lord that You made us in Your image. We are the only things in creation with a spirit, which makes us like You. This is amazing and our minds can’t grasp the fact that You made US to be like You. But our spirits can!!! But sin came into the world, and things changed. Our spirits died, and our bodies are dying daily. But, thanks to Jesus paying the price for each of our sins, and our response to that, our spirits can and do come alive, and we are again, in Your image spiritually. Ephesians 2:6 goes further, and tells us: “and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” When we are in Jesus and He in us (we are one, spiritually), then we are spiritually seated in heavenly places with Christ, at the Father’s right hand. He didn’t say we WILL BE, but that we are already. The powerful things that happen at our salvation, aren’t recognized by many people. The Word tells us of the hidden world that we need to become acquainted with. God is speaking to His people. Are we listening?
