GOD’S WORD FOR DECEMBER 12 ~~ Joshua 1:8 ~ ~ “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Whenever the Old Testament speaks of the “law”, because of our grafting in, (as a result of Christ’s sacrifice), for the Christian, it means the Word of God, the Bible. We should be so “into” the Word that it governs everything we do and think. By that, we will be connected with Jesus, because He is the Word of God. He is to be the “all in all” for the Christian, because without Him we are nothing. Heavenly Father, may we understand the deeper meaning of this and of all of Your Word, and apply it to our lives, by Your strength, Grace and power. In Jesus’ powerful name, we ask this. Amen
