GOD’S WORD FOR FEBRUARY 3 ~ ~ 1Timothy 6:8-9 ~ ~ “ And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.  But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.” This goes along with the verse for yesterday. Covetousness is an open door for many other sins, because it draws us away from relying on the Lord for our sustenance, and opens the door to what the world has to offer, which always means slipping further down in the lure of evil. Our Lord will provide what He knows we need.

There are many, many promises for that. We thank You, Father, that we don’t have to worry, and in fact, Jesus commanded us not to worry, about having the things of this world. You give us every provision in every area as we look to You. We praise You forever!
