GOD’S WORD FOR MARCH 6

GOD’S WORD FOR MARCH 6 ~ ~ 2 Cor 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” In Hebrews 11:1, we’re told that “ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence (confidence) of things not seen.”

We’re used to living by physical sight. Even Thomas said, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” (John 20:25) he not only needed to see, he needed to touch. How much do we need in order to believe? I ask because we won’t see heaven until we believe first. We won’t get resurrected bodies to see and touch until we believe first. Jesus therefore said, “blessed are they who have not seen, yet have believed (John 20:29). Do you believe? You don’t want to hear Jesus say to you, “ But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. (John 5:40). If you are having trouble believing without seeing, simply ask Him to help you –like the father of the convulsing child, in Mark 9:24, who said, “Lord, I believe, help my unbelief.” Jesus will!!
