GOD’S WORD FOR MARCH 30

GOD’S WORD FOR MARCH 30 ~ ~ Psalm 104:27 ~ ~ “These all look to You to give them their food at the proper time.” For animals to survive in the deserts, they are shown by their Creator to do some amazing things. For instance, in the Arizona desert, unsuspecting spadefoot toads are mysteriously pulled down under the mud on the shore of a pond. We talked about their unusual reproductive habits earlier, but they have problems in their life besides that. As they’re hopping along, they never know when they’ll get pulled down by, none other than the larva of a horsefly! The larva hides under the mud with just their heads sticking up, then they all grab a passing toad and pull him into the mud, inject him with poison, and eat him. Ironically, when the larvae develop into full grown horseflies, guess who THEIR worst nightmare is!!!!!——YUP—the spadefood toads!!! It comes around! Such is the food chain that has become necessary since the fall of man in the perfect garden. Sin has changed the entire world—not just mankind. But God is never caught off-guard. He had built in mechanisms already in creatures for that time. Blessed be the Name of the Lord!!! Remember, our future is God’s past!!!! He’s already provided for us as well as His creatures. He said this: in Isaiah 65:24: “IT SHALL COME TO PASS THAT BEFORE THEY CALL I WILL ANSWER…” Father, please inflict our hearts with the tragedy of sin in this world, and give us a passion to reach others with the Good News of the Gospel, so that they, too, will know You intimately as we were created to. Give us the desire and courage to talk to others about the Sure Hope of Glory in You, which is gotten by acknowledging our sinful nature and accepting the substitution of Jesus!!! We ask this through the intercession of Your Dear Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
