GOD’S WORD FOR APRIL 28

GOD’S WORD FOR APRIL 28~ ~ Psalm 109:27~ ~ “Let them know that it is Your hand, that You, O Lord, have done it.”

Tiny bacteria, are amazing creatures of Almighty God. It’s surprising to know that some bacteria, like E Coli, know where they’re going and how to get there.

They have their own built-in “propellers” to move toward food that they like or away from food they don’t like. Since they’re too tiny and weak to move through water, the Creator provided them with flagella (rotational hairs) that rotate at 18,000 revolutions per minute!!!!

They can also reverse the direction, but this causes their previously only-straight-line trip to be reduced into a tumble as the hairs unwind.

From the evolutionists point of view, these are strange abilities for some of the lowerst-level creatures on the evolutionary scale to be able to do!!!

We can ask our friends on the other side—why didn’t they turn into—-say—–birds, or fish….why are they still only single cell bacteria?

We can also ask them how they find food, and how they know where it is, and where it isn’t, or, how about they tell us where they got sensors and a memory in order to know whether they’re going to a better place or a worse one, especially after one of their tailspins?

Of course, evolutionists can’t answer these questions, and neither can we. But we know Who can answer them, and someday, when we’re living with Him for eternity, He will tell us all about it.

Do you know if you will be with Him for eternity? He has asked you to be there. Did you know that?

In John 14:6 ~ ~ “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

There is no other way. Not church attendance, not sacraments and not by “being good”.

John 3:16 ~ ~ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The New Testament was originally written in Greek. The word used was understood by all who read it to mean much more than our contemporary English word, “believe”. It really means to trust totally, to rest your entire life upon, to be one with, to need nothing else.

It does NOT mean simply to believe He existed, and to believe He is the Son of God, or even that He died on the cross. It means making a commitment to trust ONLY HIM for your eternity, and not your own works.

Ephesians 2:8-9 ~ ~ “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
