GOD’S WORD FOR MAY 20
GOD’S WORD FOR MAY 20 ~ ~ Isaiah 14:24 ~ ~ “The Lord Almighty has sworn, ‘Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.”
It is hard to know where to start when talking about God’s provision for His creatures. Each one is individually and totally suited to it’s life, needs and environment. One of those is the whale, who, of course lives in the sea, along with other mammals like seals, walruses, dolphins, sea elephants and others.
Did you ever wonder how the mothers can nurse their young in the water, as the whale has to do? How did the Creator God solve the problem of sea water getting into the baby’s mouth as he attempts to nurse? This could be a real problem for the little whale. The Creator, as usual, had this planned for the creatures He loves. He made the mother whale in such a way that when the baby feeds, his mouth fits into a spot that creates a water-proof seal around his mouth. Sea water cannot get in, even though they’re always underwater when the babies nurse!!!
In addition, the baby whale’s windpipe is elongated above the gullet so milk cannot flow into his lungs no matter what position he’s in!
Again, as in all creation, evolution could never have done this, because the very first baby whale and every other one after that would have died before evolution could “fix” the problem.
It seems that the “scientists” must be smart enough to figure this simple point out, time after time.
It looks less like ignorance, and more like rebellion against anything the Almighty stands for.
As God provides for us in our daily lives, do we thank Him and praise Him? Nothing is too small to thank Him for, and He provides even the smallest things. Let’s not forget to always be thankful. Unthankfulness is a form of rebellion.
