GOD’S WORD FOR MAY 30 ~ ~ John 15:13 ~ ~ “Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 ~ ~ “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you.”

Today we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country and for us, as Americans.

We will forever remember and honor you.

They say there are no atheists in fox holes. I believe this. I also believe that many were saved before this life ended, and eternity began for them, and I thank the Lord for that.

Courage is always from God, because the devil and sinful mankind are inherently cowards. We know God was with all these men and women in the battles, whether they were aware of Him or not.

We see sinful weakness that comes from the evil one in the way this great nation is being manipulated into satan’s den by deception on every corner. We see clearly every day Jesus’ parable of the wheat and the tares, (weeds) in Matthew 13:25-30. The tares that the enemy planted are all around us, sharing our soil, nutrients, and affecting our very lives. They seem to be growing faster, as all weeds seem to, and it can be overwhelming, especially when we look at the lives that were lost in defending the principles of freedom and honor that this nation is based on UNDER GOD, and upon the commandments of God.

It is a cancer within, and it can only be fought as we stand in the Spirit, firmly planted in the fertile

soil of faith in the Living God and in Jesus Christ for salvation for this life and eternity.

Father, we come to Your throne in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. By the power of His sacrifice we ask that You protect this nation that was founded on the Rock of Jesus Christ and on Your great commandments. It was a diamond that glittered for You, but now it is rotting from the inside with corruption and sin. Please strengthen and guide the remnant of Your elect, to hold our own, to stand for You until the time that Your perfect plan be fulfilled for this earth. Give us strength, faith, courage and even joy as we look into Your loving face, knowing that no matter what happens, and when it does, it is always within Your will, and we will be with You for eternity. Please put the knowledge of the evil and of Your justice and love into the young generations so they understand the severity of what is taking place worldwide. Protect them, please, from the strong delusion being forced upon them.

We need You, Lord~ ~ and we praise You for all You’ve done and are doing for this great nation and Your elect people in the World. We ask for strength and a strong sense of Your Presence among those persecuted for their faith. We pray also for Jerusalem, as Your Chosen people march to the beat of Your perfect plan for them. We don’t know when, but we know that You have it all in perfect knowledge, and we again thank and praise You. Amen
