GOD’S WORD FOR JUNE 16 ~ ~ 2Cor 6:14~ ~  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?

Birth in the physical is a picture of the Holy Spirit and the New Birth.

The Bible always refers to the “fruit of the womb” and the “fruit of the Spirit” It never says “fruits”. It’s always in the singular, because it’s seen as a general term to compare the two.

That’s why satan corrupts sex, marriage, and love between male and female producing a child and creating the family unit. He HATES families, because they represent the perfect order of God ~ ~ Jesus ~ ~ Father ~ ~ mother ~ ~ children, in that order.

That’s why he pushes abortion so powerfully, because the birth of a baby represents in the physical, what the the new birth is in the spiritual, and he abhors that.

In fact, satan cringes every time any baby is born alive because of the promise of Genesis 1:3 having come true through Jesus. (the crushing of satan’s head as a result of the Cross) He knows His time is short and He doesn’t know how or when the final blow will come, but he knows until then, God will raise up Godly people that are used of the Holy Spirit, to spread the Glory of God on the earth.

He must take as many with him as he can. He will attack believers with depression and discouragement so we don’t do God’s work in our short time here.

At large, the Christian church has taken on the stench of the world. The same materialism, selfishness, and desire to be entertained constantly, has coated the church. Many are in the “save the earth” mentality, when God’s Word makes it clear that His perfect plan involves destruction of this earth and creation of a new earth and new heavens. He told us that nature groans for the redemption of man, and of the earth to happen when He returns. (Romans 8:22-23) Many are also buying into the accumulation of wealth, just like the world.

Through the centuries, as Solomon says, “There is nothing new under the sun” (Eccles 1:9). Satan’s evil plans, and the fallen human mind, can only devise so many things, then, it circles around. Over and over again, we see the same things going around in history. One world government, greed creating a very rich class and a very very poor class, with nothing in between, all the “ism’s” imaginable—

Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Mohammedanism, humanism, pantheism, agnosticism, polytheism, altruism, amoralism, animism, anthropocentrism, antinomianism, atheism, to name a very small sample.

These ideas have always been present throughout history., They aren’t new. But they all have one thing in common. Their purpose is to take our minds off of the One True God. Those who claim these beliefs all know, deep inside, that they are fighting God, but they don’t want to face that, because they have been blinded by the enemy.

We can see many of these playing out, as the one world government, worship of nature and earth, and greed of the elite class, increases daily.

One thing that always circles around in a short time, and did so in Judah, is greed for wealth and class-dividing people. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and there are none in between.

One of God’s many judgments on Judah at that time is told us in Isaiah 5:8 “  Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!” That running after accumulated wealth, that we see in the blur around us, so that there is no time for the Lord in our minds or our busy days. That is a delight to satan, and a heartbreak for God.

In Judah, they stopped obeying the 7 year law, which required that all debts be forgiven after 7 years, and that the land in the entire nation be left fallow every seven years so that the poor and animals can harvest what voluntarily comes up and so they won’t be bogged down in debt. This was to slow down the progress of the rich enslaving the poor, being hopelessly bogged down in debt, imprisoned and starved out by the rich. This was to prevent the very thing that we see happening in our nation. Ironically, the bankruptcy laws use this same basis for bankruptcies to be kept on record. But, unfortunately, they changed it so that it doesn’t apply to bank records, even if the bankruptcy did not involve the bank.

This is listed as one of the top reasons that God allowed,— no—brought about—their captivity by Babylon. He calls Babylon the rod—the tool He uses to bring about the judgment. It was God’s judgment, as it is His that looms over our nation as we speak.

Some other judgments that Judah was taken captive for are listed in Isaiah 5:20-24

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

24 Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Do you see our nation and our world in this? But God isn’t judging those in the world at this time, He is judging the Church. Judgment begins with the Church. The true Church was to be the guiding light for the world. We are to be salt and light—showing the way and preserving the law, but the church, instead, has been sleepy and weak, allowing itself to become much like those in the world.

The Church has been edging toward this precipice for many years, and is in danger of falling off the edge.

We must repent of our sins—-and we all have them—-sins of doing, and sins of NOT doing. Sins of silence when fists are shaken against our Lord. Silence is a sin.

Many pew-warmers are not even saved. They love the Lord, but have not submitted to Him, have not committed to Him, and have not been imprinted by the indwelling Savior and Holy Spirit. Of course they will follow the world and the devil. They have no power.

Paul told us about that in 2 Timothy 3:5, when he described what was happening then and what we’re seeing today: “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…” No power. The church as a whole has not put itself in a position to receive the full power we were designed to have.

It’s up to us to walk with the Lord, throughout life, and make decisions that obey Him in detail, not slipping a little here and a little there into the world’s thinking, but standing firm in the Word of God.

Music, entertainment, TV, internet—of these things, judge ——all that isn’t truly Christian, is of the world, and therefore rebelling against God. Spending your time on that instead of in prayer and in God’s Word, is being unequally yoked with evil. Our Lord commands us to come out and be separate, in 2 Corinthians 6:17~ ~ “Wherefore come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

We all must use our time in petition for this nation if it is to survive. Other nations have been judged by God for far less. We are not immune to the judgment of God anymore. This nation has made a choice, and it is against God. Millions upon millions of brutal and barbaric murders of innocent babies will not escape the eyes of a righteous God!!!! Nor will the other corrupt actions, including blatant blasphemies against the True God. He will not wink at sin!!! And He will not count His Church innocent of the blood because of the silence from the church!!!!!

Abraham petitioned God for Sodom, and the Lord said if He finds ten righteous He will not destroy it.

WHAT IS THE NUMBER FOR AMERICA? Ten million? 30 million? Have you asked the Lord what it is? Have you prayed, repented and fully submitted? It takes all of us—-each of us—-the entire Church of Jesus Christ to stand for this nation and plead that He will find the number of righteous needed.

If not us, then who???????
