GOD’S WORD FOR AUGUST 8

Isaiah 32:17 ~~ “And the effect of righteousness will be peace,
And the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever.”

Righteousness is used interchangably with Salvation, because we cannot obtain righteousness any other way other than salvation through Jesus Christ. The effect of knowing we have Jesus Christ in us and that we are in Him, is certainly going to bring peace to our hearts! Knowing that we will spend eternity, forever with Him, on a perfect earth, and in heaven with Him and the Father, will also, certainly produce peace in our hearts. How can we, after knowing these things, not have quietness within ourselves, and confident trust in Him forever, despite what goes on in the world around us?

We praise You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for fulfilling Your great plan of salvation, for which we could never thank You enough, knowing that none of us deserves it in any way. Eternity won’t be long enough to sufficiently praise You.
