Psalm 37:23-24

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand”

Thank You, Lord God, that You don’t make us robots, but You give us free choice in our lives. When we’re saved, and have the guidance of the Holy Spirit, You can direct us, and uphold us from doing disastrous things, but You still give us the choice to reject that guidance. That is the responsibility and balance of the Christian life. When we insist on our way, and are sorry, You will take us back. We thank You for that, and it’s because of the sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ that that is possible.
