GOD’S WORD FOR AUGUST 15
Psalm 46:10-11
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.”
This is what Moses repeated from the Lord at the Red Sea. “Be still and know that I am God” We don’t do that enough. Prayer is good, but we need to be better listeners too. Just looking silently to Him, pondering His fantastic creation, and His unimaginable love for us, and to listen for that “Still, Small voice”. It’s time so very well spent!
