GOD’S WORD FOR APRIL 3 ~ ~ “Exodus 19:4 ~ ~”You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.”  Let’s look at the eagle, that is mentioned so many times in the Bible.   When they dive for food, their speed can exceed 100 miles per hour, and even at this speed, their eyesight must be perfect in order to know exactly when to pull out of the dive.  Their depth perception must be perfect.  His wings have over 12,000 feathers, and the design is still baffling aircraft designers, who marvel at it but cannot copy it correctly.   An eagle can climb to 10,000 feet within minutes, and when they’re teaching their young to fly, they will fly alongside, or below, and make whirlpools of air to provide additional lift for the young eaglets.

There is no end to the wonders of God’s creation!!! Still, it is all groaning for redemption, because, although created perfect,  it is faulty from the sin that is destroying it.   The New Earth will have all these wonders, and more, but without the death and sorrows.   What a wonderful place that will be for those who have chosen to belong to Christ!!!

“Does the eagle mount up at your command, And make its nest on high?”  God asked Job in Job 39:27.
