GOD’S WORD FOR APRIL 5~ ~ “And every male among you who is eight days old shall be circumcised throughout your generations….”  Why exactly 8 days old?  Because the Creator knew that would be best.     Prothrombin  is produced by the liver, with the help of vitamin K.  Without K, the liver couldn’t produce this very important chemical which causes the  blood to clot to stop excessive bleeding. It is a medical fact that ideally, normal newborn babies begin producing vitamin K  on days 5 through 7 after birth. This means that on the eighth day after birth, a baby boy will have reached his maximum level of prothrombin for his lifetime.  Therefore, the most perfect clotting will take place on that day to prevent bleeding.   God gave Moses this command on circumcision over 4,000 years ago—-there was no testing for prothrombin, and no time to experiment to see when the babies would bleed the least.   ONLY the creator of  all would have known this.
